Limp - Nodes One man's road trip along Chemo Highway

In putting together this book, the publisher asked me to write a blurb for the back cover. Given this is my first book, I had to check out Google to get some ideas as to what one should include in said blurb. Okay. Got it. The idea is for me to write something short and catchy to pique the reader’s interest. Hmm. Given the book title, I somehow suspect the initial interest may lie with a select group of individuals. Those with a personal interest in the topic, and curious types drawn to the books title. The question begs. How do I convince readers to buy the thing? To that end, will it help matters if I tell you I did a lot of unplanned research into the topic? Five long months in fact. In doing my research it dawned on me that retaining one’s sense of humour would prove most helpful in dealing with the not so you-beaut side-effects of Chemo treatment. Added to that, I had an idea that a light hearted take on my big-C road trip may give moments of light relief to those setting out on their own Chemo Road Trip, and offer light relief to those who simply relish a quirky tale.
