The egg crate (soft grid) focuses the existing light source into a more contained area to fit challenging light requirements. The egg crate grid contains the light to a tubular pattern for more of a spotlight effect with minimal light spill. The egg crate also provides directional control of soft box light letting you keep light on your subject and off the background, controlling spillage. The Velcro-style edging makes installation fast and easy. Once the job is complete, just detach and fold it down to a fraction of its size and store it in the included fabric bag.
